Should the new map be a blank map (like =65 when it first started), or a terrain map (like =66, filled with grass & water)?

Sim, would the terrain be removable without a townstone? Like will the trees be able to be taken down? Or will you need a special tool or townstone to take it down?

It would be the same as it is on =66 permissions-wise

I may not play this game at the moment, but I feel every vote counts. Now... hmmm... let's recap... terrain. It makes the ruins look a bit nicer...

I think it should be a terrain map like =66, but instead of just islands there should be like 3-5 large continents with some islands scattered around the ocean.

Even though I voted for terrain, I wouldn't care as long as it's available to EVERYONE on day one.

I am really going to complain here, when i heard "new map" i thought it would be a new themed map. Not just an empty copy of another world.

 

There could be new themes for maps y'know, like Mars, made of Dirt and Roof, orange plastics, Etc. Or the moon, like Snow, Cement. Not just repeating all over again, that's just boring and will get the hype off for this new map.

 

As an opinion between these both, Islands do suck really much. I rather the Blank map.

I see no point, people are going to destroy it.

=66 is not Destroyed by 100%, you can apreciate there were many islands, and the map theme was basically many islands in the ocean.

 

What was the point then of =66 being many islands together if it was going to get griefed?

Can't we do a compromise where portions of the map is flat, but some others are full of life (trees). Oh, in the new map, can we have ruins with "reward blocks" in them so it gives a point of exploration?

I see lots of hate for =66 and how it looks, but I find that it looks far better than =65. I think the real reason why most people don't like =66 is the level restriction that makes it feel empty. Assuming that it comes out random,  I believe the terrain would look better than flat dirt/grass spread across an entire map.

Sim, it should be a terrain map, For what I think it should be a different terrain map.Instead of islands, why not... Venus-like environments? Like this for Instance, at the map, it will introduce a new block, LAVA, Lava will kill you in the slightest touch. Or maybe, Winter environment? the place will be filled with snow and made with snow trees. and you will also introduce a new block, ICE. Ice can make you slip (I want this block because it is a great block for quest-makers) So uhh... I hope you liked my Idea! I really hope you introduce new blocks
