So, I don't know the extent we will see of 9bitmmo, whether it will continue to be updated, and eventually replace 8bitmmo, or just be a simple tech demo.Regardless, I see huge potential in it, and here is a W.I.P. list of thing that I (and others?) would like to see implemented/fixed.

I'm keeping this simple for now, and trying to exclude bugs.

 

1. Proper voxel models for non-square blocks. eg. flowers, eggs, townstones, and anything else that looks rather peculiar due to it's design not being designed for a 3D environment.

 

2. Voxel characters/clothes. even if they're at least 1 pixel or 2 in depth... so you can see people while facing an odd angle.

 

3. Button hitboxes are rather offset, and despite this being more of a bug than an idea, it causes an inability to use the menu...

 

4. Give an option to view 1 region farther in each direction, or at least make all the regions in the direction you're facing visible. This gives the game that "large open world feel" rather than feeling boxes in your 3x3 region.

 

5. fixed weapon visuals. both where the weapon appears to strike, as well as the actual graphic. (Welcome back, family dog.)

That's no lol


>People are invisible when you look them 180º rotation.

I spent 1 hour with meep for finding bugs:

If you put books, they will be offset the grid.

Also, Papers and books are 8px high! :o

Also, one time I passed trough a wall. lelele

kek, that's enough.


Also, names are messed up if you press F7.

Also, you can move like a drunk if you press F7 and F8.


By drunk I mean sim9 on IRC.


Also, sword is sometimes invisible.

And, You can have an item on your cursor (Example: Blue carpet) But not on the right corner.

Enough? NO!


Ftw...

If you go near a glass and go to rotation mode, you can see your hitbox.


You can see terrain on non-well textures thingies (Townstone)


That are in not voxel :P


If you press T (The shadows) The game goes black.


+Gold thing doesn't show.


I have more.


Reward block has the same texture everytime.


Also, sim, you will have to pass all the textures to voxel. lol


9 of 10 times you spawn, you convert into a ghost.


FTW pumpikns are invisible :P

9 of 10 times you spawn, you convert into a ghost.    If you're too close to a wall/hitbox and/or are on a weird angle, you get stuck in the hitbox of something.

By features he means NON-features aka things that aren't added in-game. Such as health down, +Gold, Many shop items, Using commands, Opening boxes.

 

Like, Pressing E on a box and not showing the container window is not a bug. Just not an implemented mechanic in the new client.

THERE IS NO TEXTURE FOR THE STEAK. Indeed, it's an attacking spikey thing. LOL.

And yes those 2 things are "Food"


indeed not. 

There is no texture for the burnt steak and stuff so it uses other textures lel.

You can rotate your vision, as in third person. Not rotate objects, for now.

But its 3d.. There's gotta be jumping..
