I must know before I spent my money foolishly. (Yes, I know you get a ton of other stuff with it but this is the major selling point)

If you want to test stuff and test the 3d mode, buy them.

If you want to wait 1-2 years until the 9bitmmo release, then no.

9bitMMO is already released. The update won't override the actual 8bitMMO look though. The 3D glasses is just a very special feature.

 

In my opinion you should get a pair of them, they are worth it.

$35 for wearable glasses and testing a game engine

mfw you could have paid $35 years ago to test new games in beta.

mfw engines like Unreal 4 are free.

To be fair, seeing hours of work in a 3D environment is actually worth 35 dollars (cost more in CAD though :/   )

9bitMMO is what you unlock when you wear the glasses.

It gives you the ability to see on real 3D and rotate the screen.

Why not call it 3dbitMMO? I get that it really doesn't mesh but calling it 9bitMMO confused me and might have confused others...

You should ask some people for screenshots of what it looks like. So far everyone but myself has loved it, so there's a good chance you will too, but you may want to see what it looks like first. (Or you could spend $35 anyways since like madman said you get other great stuff too)
