A new update came out today!

 

This update does the following:

• You now need an account to upload, this is being looked at were if you aren't logged in it'd hash but PHP shouted at me for trying this so I'll take a look at another way of doing this. However, we've come up with a temporary (possibly permanent) method of requiring you to login - don't worry! It shouldn't log you out unless you click "logout".
• AESTHETICS! This part is aesthetic The http://technomagic.net/imagehost/up/ webpage for viewing uploaded content is so much more snazzier, credits to the guys at h5ai for making it and for Zooty for suggesting and linking it to me It's no longer that boring horrible-as THING, but rather completely revamped.

Hope you guys enjoy the new update. The first 1/2 of the update was done because people could upload to the "up/" folder directly if they didn't log in... I go flipping ballistic if that gets cluttered, so this saves my mental health.

Also, images will load again properly now - someone put my computer into hibernation... Nothing was lost

I think its best to leave this to people that know what they're doing.
A laptop older than time itself is not an ideal server for any application.

The server's are down. That's not my laptop -  it's the backup server heh. I forgot that whenever I install an OS, it updates the whole system. :/ I should really write this stuff down heh.

Hey all! I bring such amazing news!

 

Okay, so I was wondering about TechnoMagic ImgyHost and whether to bring it back up again, when I thought, "Heck, why not?". I disliked the theme and stuff of the old one so I had opted to code it again from scratch, and this new version is better in the following  ways:

 

1. The theme fits the rest of the website.
2. Your uploaded files are shown on the front page - you don't have to go to your directory to see their names.
3. Since I think of this as a "dummied-down Cloud hosting for Images", accounts are no longer needed and the system identifies each individual use by their IP addresses (which are hashed, don't worry )

Of course, BBCode tags are displayed after image upload. Enjoy!
