So, I was sat down coding (as usual), when randomly I had a sudden feeling of hate towards Imgur. I have no clue why. But anyways, I set about making my own image host one easier to use than theirs, so here it is!

ALSO, please note that all images WILL be moderated. So, inappropiate images might suddenly disappear and appear in my recycle bin. Then they'll suddenly disappear from there. But yeah, other than that there's no limitations!

New update done:

 

1. Changed "Yesterday's Daily Featured Image" to "Today's Daily Featured Image", makes more sense.
2. Modified Disclaimer at side of screen.
3. Made access to the Content List publicly available.

Okay, today's update also changes the way uploads are handled slightly. Already uploaded content will remain the same but the way things are handled for uploads from now and onwards will go to another folder.

 

The reasons for this are not being disclosed at the moment.

Just an FYI, you shouldn't store IP addresses and show them to the public.

 

If you wanted to archive each image by the poster, you should hash the IP address.

Anyway, IPs are now hashed. Images made before 15/7/14 will have to be reuploaded or BBCodes will have to be changed so that "up/" is now "up/old/" and images made before 17/7/14 will be deleted in 6 days from now.

We finally got a featured image!

Okay, done a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge update (I say that - it's not too noticeable ) today!

 

So I finally managed to get MySQL to work with apache and I've set up a small account system. Now this is something I've been wanting to do for a while now, and I feel it'll be able to grow, maybe make a small community system, acheievements, etc. But these ideas will take time.

 

I've overhauled the Upload methods too. Rather than hashing your IP address and giving you a huge long list of letters and numbers, it now uploads to a folder with your account name Also, to ensure safety of your accounts all passwords are encrypted, so even I can't see them

A new update came out today!

 

This update does the following:

• You now need an account to upload, this is being looked at were if you aren't logged in it'd hash but PHP shouted at me for trying this so I'll take a look at another way of doing this. However, we've come up with a temporary (possibly permanent) method of requiring you to login - don't worry! It shouldn't log you out unless you click "logout".
• AESTHETICS! This part is aesthetic The http://technomagic.net/imagehost/up/ webpage for viewing uploaded content is so much more snazzier, credits to the guys at h5ai for making it and for Zooty for suggesting and linking it to me It's no longer that boring horrible-as THING, but rather completely revamped.

Hope you guys enjoy the new update. The first 1/2 of the update was done because people could upload to the "up/" folder directly if they didn't log in... I go flipping ballistic if that gets cluttered, so this saves my mental health.
