Hello I need help with when I open the game throu steam it says

The general consensus to this problem is that you have to allow the game through the firewall.

i did let it throu my firer wall and im not one a proxy setting

Then I'm afraid I don't know. Perhaps someone else can offer assitance.

When I open 8bitMMO I get the following message:

 

Error: Trouble getting latest launcher version online.

Only thing is, I have checked my firewall a hundred times, and 8bitMMO is the first thing on the list that it is ALLOWING.

 

So, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated. I really want to play this game!

im having the exact same problem i was able to play for a little while and when i went to log back in i get the "Error: Trouble getting latest launcher version online.

That's really weird that it was working and then stopped working.  As it sounds like a couple of you do have firewalls, I would suggest disabling them entirely and then testing.
