Simple error where when you kill multiple enemies in one hit you don't get money for the amount of enemies you killed. (Steam Beta).

To my knowledge this is not an error. It is designed so that you can't farm gold endlessly and instead can only farm so much per 45 minutes.

Yes, type /gold to see how much gold you have farmed in the gold cycle. If you've farmed a lot, you get less until the cycle resets (a good time to go and build something, or do pvp! 
)

It's actually a good way to make a challenge for gold. So people just don't get rich really fast. Like Robby said.
