RoadsI really like roads. I've spent a lot of time in the game building and promoting the Great Western Road. Making a well maintained and functioning road network not only makes travelling easier, but also gives the world a more coherent structure. Also, travelling by road is much nicer than teleporting!
* If you see a road, try not to build in its way, but instead to the side of it. If someone tries to build a road and you have put some random blocks in its way beforehand, maybe you can even move them a couple of blocks to the side?
* If you build a road, try to maintain it. If someone builds next to it, let your road connect to them, or at least open up a spot in the sidewalk if you have one. When I was new, psy let me connect my road to his, and now I try to walk the whole of the Great Western Road at least once a week to connect it to new towns and buildings. If you build next to it, I will let you connect. If you make a new town or a nice landmark, I will put up a sign!
