Ahoy, there! I'm experiencing some issues with logging into 8BitMMO. I set up an account, then I correctly entered in my log in information, and when I click "Log In" it sends me back to the log in page. Clearly it knows that the log in information is correct, as it gives you an error when you do so incorrectly. I'm running on Mac OS 10.5.8 and using the Firefox 11.0 browser. I noticed the "Java Applet - 8bitmmo" was downloaded and opened when I entered the site, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Let me know. I viewed the trailer and thought the concept was intriguing, so I'd like to give it a try if I can.
Thanks,
The Warden.

Sorry you're having trouble!
Try task killing java and refreshing the page (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, kill any java instances)
You may also want to try the java steps in the FAQ
Lemme know how that works for you
EDIT: See you're on Mac -- I'm not sure how to restart java on that platform, but worst case scenario you can try a reboot

Well, I fiddled around with some things, and now the page at http://8bitmmo.net/play.html won't connect to 'The Archive', so I'm not even getting the log in screen anymore. Is this the fault of my fiddling, or is it something else entirely?

Heh nope, coincidentally the game is down for a minute for maintenance. Should be back online within 15.

Sadly, I'm still having the same issue I'll look at it again tomorrow. It's late and I have work in the morning!

Ah, sorry. When you have a chance to look at it again, which Java version are you running?

Hmm, that should work...
On windows, you're able to click the Java icon in the system tray to get a log. If you can find a similar thing for mac, it would be useful to first open up the log window, and then click the login button, and see if it returns any interesting data.
PS - Feel free to do tomorrow, don't let me keep you up
