RobbyZ, I have watched you in amidst the IRC chat. You were once a patient man, and became one who takes things too seriously at times. You always claim to work "hard" to update 8BitMMO, but even I can see other 1-developer games updated more frequently then yours. You should consider the community as well, since it's dying really fast, to the point where its about to experience a slow, and painful death to it's end in the future. Leaving it only to rely on commonly active players. However, I have seen you try and it seems you aren't even doing your best to help it. Soon, the game will die. It's inevitable.

Many players are leaving because of your attitude towards your own game. I may be wrong about you taking things too seriously at times, but I'm 100% about your attitude towards your own game. Your community basically consists of commonly active players who are interested in creating stuff for the game. You give your attention to them, but not your game. My point is that you shouldn't take your own focus to the community 100%, but your own game as well. How do you do this, you ask? First of all, PLEASE create more frequent updates to the game. You can't rely on the commonly active players to create those "mini-games" for players to play. Sure, the game is supposed to be mostly made by the players, but I'm saying you should add more content to the game as an overall. Doing this will not only help your game, but will also help the community. New players will see something fresh almost daily, causing them to come back at times to play.

Something to add to my point is this thread: http://forums.8bitmm...-bring-this-up/

Not only that, but your "goal" is to make "9BitMMO" the new thing. You're going for the wrong goal! It's basically 8BitMMO but in 3D. So what? What is the point? For cosmetic causes? I'd rather frequent updates that causes more farming than a stupid, useless main-game counterpart "soon-to-be" sequel. This game is supposed to be an MMO. You need to turn this game into something not only players will want to log-in daily, but have to log-in daily in order to take care of something.

All because of these things I have pointed out. I'm leaving the game for good. No hiatus, no breaks, no returns. I simply have no reason to play this game anymore. This game is a building game, yes, but the limitation of what you're creating makes it seem so limited after you keep doing more of it. You clearly haven't added any blocks for almost a year now. What's the point of creating something new when the choices you make are limited to the blocks that are in this game? Well, you could say I can make those "mini-games", but that's such a common idea, I wouldn't call it "unique", or a "unique experience".

Go ahead, lock this thread up. Justify me just like what you did to Chris_Ramos. I'm done with the community. I'm sorry if I disappointed all of you. Bumchin and doodleman, you're in charge of Cats Creed.

Oh, and don't think that I made this thread just because you gave me a warning point.

Wow, I guess my points were valid. My predictions were true. It seems I unwittingly hit the first domino that will undoubtedly knock over the rest of them.     :(  :puppydog:

You aren't what's making people leave the game, Sim's lack of attention to it is.

Locking thread per request (and more to the point, this thread is redundant versus already existing linked one)
