I think it would be cool if we had a new world that was dedicated to a new gamemode: WAR!

 

Players can join and create factions. Factions can have a leader, vice-leader, officials etc (just like towns).

There's a new type of townstone, the War Townstone. It can only be placed in the War world, it costs gold and it can't be expanded. You can also only place blocks inside a town.

Factions can be allies with eachother, like the way that people can add eachother as a friend ingame.

 

Players that aren't a member of a town/faction can raid enemy faction bases.

They can destroy blocks using the hammer (a new use for the item! :D), but this takes a long time.

 

The raiders have to get to the townstone and stay there for 2 minutes, after this the town becomes theirs.

Things for this to work:

 

 

- World is a quarter size of the regular worlds

 

- There are only 5 bases. No  more, no less

 

- These 5 bases are each in the four corners and centre

 

- There can be an infinite amount of factions

 

- These factions are fighting for control over the bases

 

- Very minimal building would be permitted

 

- There would be many restrictions on building

Maybe a limit of 5 bases per faction?

Why limited building?

(in my head) the idea was a faction would make like a castle, and enemies would start to break in and you'd have to defend your castle from it.

Why limited building?

(in my head) the idea was a faction would make like a castle, and enemies would start to break in and you'd have to defend your castle from it.

I like this. I had a similar idea with guildstones once, but this is way better.

heres something me and value where talking about, we start with a simple clan update, like next to ur name it has the symble to ur clan, like when ur in bounty it shows the numbers, where thats normally at it shows ur clan symble mine would say " withrowkavan (DT)

then after that it gets more indept, for 5 plat or so, u can buy a clan stone, where u can create a clan at, u place it in ur town, and it becomes a base. so i guess both of those would have to be added at once. then theres commands like 

/clanadd (name)

/clandel (name)

/clanname (name)

/declarewar (name)

and so on

I would prefer a /townupgradeclan, /townclan or something so I wouldn't have to build a new base . It would be like upgrading from a Pocketstone to a Townstone

I would prefer a /townupgradeclan, /townclan or something so I wouldn't have to build a new base . It would be like upgrading from a Pocketstone to a Townstone

The idea is all of the war townstones are in their own world, so that existing structures don't get damaged.

No Zooty, Nooooooo! Why did you have to point me towards this AFTER I started building my Wizard Tower on =65? Glad I'm rich, otherwise I'd find building a base on said new map to be.... annoying.

I've always wanted a new map just for wars (=65 is too tame!). Clan bases should be in regular towns as people have already built. However the idea of building structures which could be defended/destroyed would be a nice idea for a new map... and maybe a pvp leveling system with perks? Seeing as pvp isnt active enough maybe restrict the building/destroying of blocks in the war map to -5/+5 a day (you choose whether to build a maxium of 5 blocks or destroy a maxium of 5)? Then it would just depend on strategy and the numbers in your clan helping you. Also maybe the structures you defend should be modeled into the map a bit like the biomes in =66? So everyone has a fair chance and has the same structures.

I liked link's idea where there are already basic bases and clans have to fight for control of them, and then they can customize it and stuff. It would keep those 2 player clans away

It should have war types, for ex, You would need certain items to make a better item! And if there has been something a player has left for 30+ days or griefing, players could remove it!

Restrictions on building is a must. I would also like to see a smaller sized map as our playerbase isn't large and we would get lost locating players.

factions are basically a good way for clans to actually be used. :)

Guys remember, this game is unique and not like another, adding clans would make this statement more true, but we dont want it to much like other games, doesnt destroying buildings sound a bit like clash of clans to u, i say we take a poll, i dont know how to make one, ill look, but we should vote on which update we want more, CRAFTING OR CLANS. that way sim can make are decision extra special, and then he can work on the other idea

Every game needs groups/guilds/clans though and this game does have a pvp element to it why not improve?
