I have no idea how it really works in reality but I do know some basics. The way this works without actually coding or modifying anything is that I will roll a dice in game to decide if the stock market rises or falls. You ask in game players to invest in it. Any Money made from the sell is split between people.

Sounds kinda dumb to have the stock market determined purely by chance, but if we can buy stock in companies that'd be great

Yeah, thats the problem. There is no "resources" in the game, so the only way to recreate the rising and falling stock value.

maybe if people would stop being so cheap and use gold to hire people to do things for them, even simple things like pretend to clean their house, that way you could actually create a company e.g madman's cleaning agency and people could actually invest in it or what not.

madman: Pretty sure I once tried founding a company in 8BitMMO. Can't remember what it did, Meep might, considering I had set it up in his Industrial Zone. Companies tend to get ignored.

i tried to make multiple companies, none of them succeeded ;-; maybe cd87 or whatever his name is will succeed with his demolition business

There is a very little chance he may succeed, but there is still "chance" right? He just need consistentsy and dedication and (if necessary) bigger font bold letters. Idk
Please, no. Do not ask him to increase his font or boldify his letters. It's big enough as it is.
