If 8bitMMO was an FPS then ranged weapons would have been a GOOD idea.

I'd give it a go. Basically everyone could get pocket universes and edit them into maps. The best ones (based on a public vote) get added to the queue. Then it's pretty COD-esque in terms of the lobby before the match. You can vote from three maps or so, and chat. Definitely weapons would need a revamp though. It could work.
Still doing the hand thing.
