[Sage]

Wild Grass <---> Permanent Grass

I made a simple mod that swaps the two grass textures. It's much easier on the eyes at night. Enjoy!

 

Files:

Name this tileset-8pxhigh when saving:

http://i60.tinypic.com/2a8lpub.png (try this if the picture isn't working)

 

Name this tileset-16pxhigh when saving:

http://i60.tinypic.com/fe3uc6.png (try this if the picture isn't working)

 

Easy install (Windows Steam Version):

-Open 'Run' on your computer.

-Paste %appdata%\8BitMMO\Clients\2f4a8472 into Run and hit enter

-Navigate to HTMudWeb --> tilesets

-Paste the files I provide here inside this folder (make sure they're named the right things)

-Replace them with the defaults

Better Lava Lamps

Did you ever notice that lava lamps had an animation? I know I didn't.

Mainly because both shades of the purple used in it were very close to each other... Let's fix that!

I replaced the lighter purple with red, as it looks much nicer that way.

 

Name this lavalamp when saving:

Oh wow... Wild grass looks much much better than artificial... If it is used on massive projects (Needing grass... Also the wild grass color works great on the 8bit dragon)...

It really does though. There's really no reason not to install this, as it only makes the game look better. Also, Wild Grass becomes the shiny grass with the regular texture applied to it (and that just makes more sense to me given how much it goes for nowadays lol)

could you reupload the files somewhere else? maybe drop box or google drive? those are safest websites for saving files

Am I the only one who already knew they were animated? Also nice texture pack, if I had the download version I'd use it.

I changed the textures of cement and black brick into the same pattern as red brick. It just makes more sense to me:

 

Like this post if you'd like me to do the work to make this an option along with the grass edit. This is slowly turning into a minimalist texture pack lol.

I really like the cement one. Black brick looks nice BUT I should point out that its tile, and should remain the same.

 

You should make more brick versions of blocks, and make a "yo dawg I heard you like bricks" texture pack. That would be the best

the cement blocks are amazing, goes great with castles!

That sounds like fun lol. It would be very synergistic as well.

From what I'm gathering, you guys like the cement but want black bricks to remain the same. I can do that. As for making almost everything brick? I can do that as well. It will either be the ugliest texture pack in the world, or the most genius. Sorry for editing your text Kral, but I can't read it so well.
