I personally wouldn't mind a reform of trading, in fact I'd be cool with having an open market where if you have spare items that you don't need you can put it in a storage box and set a price on it you could do this with premium items too. Then when your offline due to work or school or what have you, other players can come up and buy while your away and when you come back it works the same as a pay door.
The trading would be nice for more fast pace trading like drag and drop items to a player opens the trading menu or even setting a hotkey would be cool.
The menu itself I'm honestly cool with I like the way it is already personally.

An "exchange box" that you put items or gold in and would give said items to a player who paid for them (so shopping without the owner present) would be nice.
Yeah like a box which the owner can place items in and set the price in gold of each item, also maybe there would be different sized boxes, for different amounts of items u can store in it ( to sell) and maybe ther can be a town version too ( cuz every item has a town version e.g doors boxes) and ofc it would HAVE to cost plat
