About 30 minutes ago (9:45pm EST), I closed 8BitMMO while I went away from my PC. Several minutes later, when I returned to the computer to restart 8BitMMO, I was met with the "Failed to start game - app already running" error. Since the game didn't appear to be open, I had to go end the "java.exe" process in task manager. Once I did this, I was able to start the launcher. However, when I started the launcher, it just stalled with the msg "Authenticating with Steam, please wait..." for about ten minutes until the launcher screen went white. I've never had any kind of connection issues with Steam before, and everything else on my computer is working fine. I would really like to get back to playing the game, so any solutions to this problem would be much appreciated.
tl;dr 8BitMMO's launcher won't load properly and the game won't start
EDIT: I attempted to create a log, but due to the nature of this issue nothing appeared in the CMD window...
