I just feel a few recipes should be added/changed.

 

Here's the current known lineup:

Sand ---> Glass

Snow ---> Grass

Grass ---> Dirt

 

Here's what I feel the updated lineup should be:

Sand ---> Glass

Grass ---> Dirt

Snow ---> Water (This makes more sense)

Dirt ---> Sand (Sand is basically really dry dirt. Sort of. Don't give me that look.)

Concrete Block ---> Road (Think of a cement mixer. First suggested by SnakeZXZ.)

Black Brick ---> Red Brick or Red Brick ---> Black Brick (can't decide if blackening from being charred or being made red from the heat makes more sense. Maybe making them both work would be fine.)

 

Feel free to add your own opinions and/or revise the list. I'd like to see something get added because of this thread!

Sage, the dirt to sand thing won't work. When full dirt turns into full sand, and then it turns into full glass. The player could /sellallinv or even just sell it to another player and get infinity money. But still, I like the ideas.

That's a good point I would've never thought of - so that's why I wanted input!

That being said, the amount of time it would take to gain that money would be slower than simply farming for it if you think about it. So I can't really see it being abused. Not to mention good luck selling regular blocks to another player very often (it would take a very specific player to want massive loads of full glass).

If anything, you would make a few gold to reward you for taking all the time to do that. I see it well-earned really.

 

Edit: Now that I think about it, it could add a whole new element to the game. Simply add a /sellallinv gold cap kinda like the PvE/PvP ones already introduced. It would be another way to make a few hundred every 45 minutes.

Yeah that would be cool. But if a player with very many ovens farmed the dirt blocks, it would be faster but It would also take time to pick up the blocks.

or make an oven only block called smoke, to help chimneys etc, which can be made from water on oven?

........................... And here is where your novicical-ness shows strong. Sim has made it very clear that he does not want Plat to be a method of "getting the upper hand" and that Plat is only there to add an aesthetic touch to the world. So basically. No.

To those saying that Sim said he does not want plats to have the upper hand: this is WRONG! Sim has said that he does not want plats to have the upper hand in PvP and PvE. He never said anything about blocks, conversions, etc. This is also visible with the Publicpad, telepads, and any other plat block - each plat block gives an extra ability to what gold blocks do, usually. Thus it is seen that these blocks could "have an upper hand". Not to mention the people saying about this could be used to make gold, might I mention the oven costs a plat? You can make money from anything (other than clothes) that is plat.

I meant if they were tradeable and I bought them from Xerp or something.
