Re-Texture Pack

Hello everybody and welcome to the grand reveal of the St.Patties Pack!

 

Here we have March's texture pack! And you know what's in March? St.Patrick's day! And you know what St.Patrick's day is all about?! Drinking! I've got 10kg saying it's Sim's favourite day of the year. The world has been covered with green and shamrocks! Sparingly though so not to harm anyone's tender eyes. You can find green ale around the place and take a look at what happens when RobbyZ drinks a little too much Enjoy!

 

The process to install it isn't exactly easy unfortunately. So I've written out some steps for you to follow!

 

For Windows XP, Vista, and 7 Users (I don't know about 8 users. GOOD LUCK)

1: Go to Run

2: Type in %appdata%\8BitMMO\Clients\2f4a8472 and press OK

3: Download the file in this thread

4: Drag this file into the opened folder and confirm that you want to replace it

5: Close folder

6: Start up the DESKTOP/STEAM version of 8BitMMO

7: Play the game!

 

And that's it!

 

Note that this method does NOT work for the browser version of the game and until further notice will not work in any way.

Note that some textures will NOT resemble their names due to the artist's creativity

Note that this pack does NOT change every texture

Note that general players will NOT see what you see. So if you're going to make something to show others use the default pack

Note that when the game is updated the texture pack will be overwritten. You will have to re-install it.

Here's a fun one. Turns out making texture packs can bug out your game Don't worry, it's fixed in the released version.

Another good job, really digging the swords.

I only do that to threads that are irrelevant and pointless to the game. Such as a topic that has turned into a flame war. That is a delete. Anything that gets too off-topic as well will be moved to general chat, keeping in mind that that thread has little to no relevance with the game to begin with. 

But aside from that. Your TexturePacks are just flat out amazing. 

It boggles my mind at how you do this so well in a short time frame.

And they actually aren't too hard to make really. Just get a basic idea of what you want and then screw around until you get something that looks nice. It probably doesn't take anymore than 4-ish hours spread out over a week to make one equivalent to my quality.

I count 12 individual images and 36 tiles that I created still present in your pack.... Also you completely butchered a ton of my sprites...
