If you REALLY wanted to do a fee door then make it so that there is one really short path (fee door) and one really long path (Dungeon)

 

I don't see anything wrong with that plan

It's what DCR has done, adding shortcuts etc, and apparnatly he's made a fair decent amount of money from doing that.
