I got a better idea! When we die on a respawnpad, we respawn at the townstone. If we get killed at the townstone we get a two second invunerability and it is canceled if we attack so spawnkilling is (almost) impossible. Also the attack that canceles the invunerability only does half damage. If you hit someone who is invunerable you lose 0.5 hp (with sword and gun), 1hp (blue sword) or 2hp (red sword) per hit.

I already made something like that on the uservoice with 51 votes and Sim9 "Under Review" mark. Though, I do disagree with the 0.5 HP losing because I want to the game to stay away from decimals personally, like the gold for instance. Well, overall I hope this goes through.
