I have selected a few high-profile players to create new dungeons to go along with the new mobs. I'm going to use this thread as a point of reference for coordination:
green = done
yellow = assigned / in-progress
red = unassigned or not in-progress
Level 1 - Slugs (easy difficulty) & Lawyercats (medium)
Dungeons: tutorial area, offices of lol & lol (eventually needs to be revamped - as the first dungeon experience, it's not overly impressive lol)
Level 2 - Lawyercat (easy) & Hipster (medium)
Dungeons: Psy's dungeon
Level 3 - Game Reviewer (medium) & Dire Game Reviewer (hard/boss)
Dungeons: Psy - Abandoned remains of game magazine publishers
Level 4 - Block Troll (medium) & Code Monkey (medium)
Dungeons: El Dromedario - Jungle dungeon
Level 5 - ??? & ???? (water mobs?)
Dungeon: Psy - Dungeon of the Dam'ed (it's an actual dam )
Notes:
- Dungeons are best set up in boxed-off areas so players know what is part of the dungeon and what is not
- There will be a couple quests to go with each dungeon. Each dungeon will have some quests like this, probably presented in this order:
- Slay X of a new mob type
- Reach reward block or find a specific item in the dungeon
- Defeat the dungeon boss
New objects:
- key/locked door system - get a key somewhere in dungeon, use the key in the same dungeon to unlock door
- There will be a door and a special telepad that will prevent players from getting into dungeons that they are not high-level enough for yet
-
Fire spitting block that periodically spits fire that damages player
Thanks guys, this is going to be awesome
