Well fear not! Cause Skulleus, King of the Vikings and mayor of Valhalla, is here to tell you how to make that money.
First, you gonna have to go thru the tutorial that Sim gives ya. Its pretty basic place some blocks, pick them back up and I believe it explains the Z axis.
Second, once you have a basic understanding of the Z axis and how to build your gonna want a goal! A.k.a Building your first castle or building a house in a town that you might've been recruited to.
Third, you gonna wanna know what the two tops of mobs that you'll be farming the most that will be killed are called Hipsters, they are extremely easy to kill and they hit often enough to maybe kill you, deaths are bound to happen but where you are gonna be farming is gonna be easy picking because the spawn is right next to them, but we will get into that later. Anyway, the second is the infamous Lawyer Cats, these guys are the scum of 8Bit, you'll be minding your own business wondering the Wildy and bam you'll die because 3 of them sucker punched you and now your back at Root and have no idea where you were.
Alright, if you have read thus far then you've got a basic understanding of how 8Bit works and are ready for the big leagues. Well now you need to know where to the Zoo is, the zoo is a mob spammer dungeon that will let you do 1 of 3 ways of killing and getting those precious gold coins you need for you first goal. Anyway, type /root and go north and then east and you'll see a set of telepads. Your gonna wanna go to the second, and you'll be in Bastion, not the first one that is Origin, the capital of 8bit, and not the third one because that is PsychoticSmiley's Town. The second one and you'll be a hub looking place, it's actually called Bastion, KJH masterpiece. Now your gonna want go north one and west one, you can read the signs, it'll say The Zoo and this the telepad that your gonna want to take. Well your almost there. You'll be in the Zoo and by now you'll see two exhibits one to the west and one to the east. The one on the west is The Hipsters and were your gonna be primarily farming. Well what are you waiting for farm! but first let me tell you of a very useful command /gold it'll tell you how much gold you've farm this cycle and how long till the next cycle/end of current cycle. Also, one last thing. At first you'll get 100-150 gold extremely fast but it slows down and once you get around 250-300 in that cycle it doesn't grind to a halt but it might as well. What i typically do is farm to about 300 and then stop and play a different game/build/chat with the community maybe help a newb or just loiter around my town and wait till that cycle ends and then repeat itself.
There are many ways to kill them, stand in one spot and let them come to you or maybe a upward/downward mash spacebar movement, or my person favorite the circle but just remember this game is only as fun as you let it be, so if farming isn't your thing then donate. I'll tell you one thing it never goes unappreciated.
NOW GO OUT THERE AND FARM GOLD BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE FUN!
