Hi everyone!
Just wanted to try 8bitmmo but everytime the applet on the play page loads, I get the following exception: http://nopaste.info/bda343c974.html
After that, I am stuck at the "Please wait, attempting connection..." screen.
What can I do to change this?

Thanks in advance,
PureSpider

PS: Yes, I've read (and tried) the FAQ.

You might try temporarily disabling java cert checking in the java control panel (java control panel -> advanced -> untick Check Certificates for revocation and enable online certificate validation

I heard at least one report where this fixed a similar issue (the cert is valid though, so I'm not sure why that'd fix that)

Hmm, searching google a bit, it looks like this thread recommends a java update: http://www.inductive...php?f=72&t=8158

Which version of java are you running?

Latest versions of both java 6 and java 7, both 32 and 64 bit.
So updating is not an option...

Hmm, unfortunately I'm not sure what to suggest then. There will be a downloadable version of the game in a couple weeks with java bundled in, which may or may not help.

Sorry I'm not sure what's going on with your system :(

Me neither, I will try with my netbook tomorrow, see if it works there.
I'll report back then.
