I tested this after I noticed a couple chairs appearing in odd places in NHD, near the Origin teleport.
Normally, you have an anti-griefing protocol in place, such that players cannot place their tiles on a spot already occupied by the tiles of another player.
For some reason, chairs are immune to this restriction. You can place (and stack up) chairs anywhere, on top of anyone's tiles.
Thus chairs can be used to block doors (if stacked) and blanket the property of other players, effectively destroying their work.
I tried to bring this to your attention yesterday, in game chat, IRC, and suggestion box / bug report ( 8bitmmo.uservoice.com ).
Thank-you for taking the time and effort to create and maintain this fun construction mmo. I submit this bug in the hopes that it can be soon corrected, thus protecting the art / construction efforts of the players.
Sincerely,
blackrazor
