It seems that only me and maybe a couple of other people (excluding sim) can do it. No one knows what allows it, so we just roll with it.

I think it's when your postcount is in certain ranges.

I could change it ever since sim started changing people's member titles, and then I wasn't as high as now, and I could still do it. But maybe. Can you change yours?

Yeah

I could use it before 800.

nope, even people who got new ones couldn't.Could edit mine before that count. My bet is that if it's edited by someone that can edit every member title (like sim) yo can edit it as well.

Only mods and sim9 can ( or are supposed to be) able to change member titles, I have no clue why you guys can edit yours though. Maybe it used to be that everyone could change them? and those who registered before it changed to only mods/sim9 changing them, can still change theirs.

Been able to change mine since before I hit 600 posts. And for some reason I feel as though Setk is able to change his as well so post count doesn't seem to make sense.

I'm 99% sure it has to do with how long someone has been on the forums. It is why Lego had like 800 posts and had a mod set member title, he couldn't change his because of how long he's been here for.
But I gave you a temporary one.
Holy crap, actually did not think of that.
